📸⭐️ July 2024 Photography Grants, Prizes, and Awards

For those who’ve been subscribing for a while, this is a quick heads-up that we’ll be doing these monthly calls for submissions a bit differently going forward. Instead of listing all the opportunities that have come up in the last month, we’ll only list the opportunities with July deadlines.

Whether you’re seeking funding for a project, access to esteemed judges, or exhibition opportunities, it’s all here. It’s also heartening to see a plethora of free submission opportunities thanks to big corporate sponsors. My pick for this month has to be the Creator Labs Photo Fund 2024, a collaboration between Google and Aperture, which is set to award 30 (!) winning photographers $6,000. Good luck!

Creator Labs Photo Fund 2024

About: Google's Creator Labs and Aperture are pleased to launch the 2024 Creator Labs Photo Fund - an initiative providing financial support to encourage artists at formative moments in their careers. Started in 2021, this third season of the Creator Labs Photo Fund will provide grants to 30 artists for new work created in the past three years.

This fund is made possible by Google Pixel in partnership with Aperture.

Prizes: Thirty selected artists will each be awarded a prize of $6,000 and a Pixel 8a device. Their work will be featured on aperture.org and across Aperture's social media channels.

Entry Fee and Deadline: Submissions are free and due in on July 16, 2024.
