SMALL GROUPS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
A few weeks ago, we asked our subscribers if theyâd be interested in joining small groups of like-minded photographers, and many of you were excited about the idea!
Some of you expressed interest in getting feedback from peers, while others were looking for a group to help keep you accountable and set (and reach) goals.
We're excited to announce that, based on your feedback, we're bringing small photography groups to life starting this November.
These groups are designed to:
Connect you with like-minded photographers
Provide valuable feedback in a supportive environment
Hold regular meetups to keep you motivated on your photography journey
What you can expect:
Guest sessions with photo editors, art buyers, and gallerists for expert critiques and insights
Creative collaboration projects with fellow group members
Peer critique sessions to help you refine your work and hone your presentation skills
Supportive, goal-focused groups to motivate you and review your progress.
Want to be a part of it? Become a premium (yearly) member for just $99/year. Youâll get access to these small groups and new activities launching in 2025.

âThe New Cubansâ by Jean-François Bouchard
Shibari, tattoos, and drag queens are not the first things to come to mind when one thinks of Cuba. However, photographer Jean-François Bouchard shows us that there is an underground in Cuba that is diverse, creative, and highly aesthetic. Bouchard has been photographing hidden Cuba since 2016 and is releasing his book The New Cubans on November 7, 2024, at Paris Photo.

INSIGHT
I believe artists must also be entrepreneurs. For me, that means 75% of the time goes to creating work and 25% to promoting it and building relationships. I attend Les Rencontres dâArles, Fotofest, and Paris Photo to nurture these relationships. I love meeting new people and learning from them⌠And it proves helpful when I want to get an exhibition shown in various cities and some media attention.â
